29 Aug 2023

by Fabienne Zimmermann

This week at Ardoq, we are gathering some of our customers in Switzerland to enable knowledge sharing and empower them to succeed on their transformation journey. “Events like these are just as valuable for us at Ardoq as they are for the customers,” said CEO and Co-founder Erik Bakstad who is also attending.

“Teaming up with enterprise architect leaders and experts from a range of great companies enable to share best practices across industries and gage what works well in your company
culture. It also a pleasure to be hosting the event at our ABB premises.”
-Håkan Wärdell, Enterprise Architect and Business Domain Lead, ABB Motion

Although they may be in different industries, all complex organizations tend to face many of the same challenges. All of the attendees, however, leverage the power of Ardoq for profitable change. Their stories will take center stage at this event to create a collaborative space for discussion and mutual learning.

“Through the sharing of use cases and enabling a peer feedback on the roadmap of Ardoq we can better understand how architecture methods and processes meet the practical functional use of Ardoq platform, respectively how new features and functionalities can evolve our processes.”

-Håkan Wärdell

“Obviously, Ardoq employees know the platform in and out, but sometimes it is better to learn from similar enterprises on how they work day to day to solve common challenges in the same platform. We want to allow like-minded EA professionals the opportunity to connect and share experiences, challenges, and hopefully some solutions,” says Bakstad.

A Community of New Enterprise Architecture Professionals

The program is divided into three parts:

  • Our Customers' Experiences: Roundtables are created based on pre-selected priority topics. This could be a mission-critical challenge they’re working on, a use case they have or are looking to implement, or a desired outcome or objective they are working towards. Attendees can engage in small facilitated discussion groups focused on the issues that are most important to them.

  • Presentations by practitioners from Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) and Asea Brown Boveri (ABB), followed by a Q&A session. This will delve into their initial challenges before implementing the Ardoq platform, the obstacles they addressed using it, and their forward-looking perspective on its utilization.

  • Ardoq Perspective draws insights from roundtable discussions, highlighting key topics that shape the future of Enterprise Architecture and guide the development of their roadmap, showcasing their proactive approach to industry trends.

Over 10 companies from healthcare, technology, railway, and manufacturing industries will be there. A full team of Ardoq’s experts will be present to guide the sessions and answer questions, including Ardoq’s CEO, Chief Product Officer, Chief Enterprise Architect, Senior Enterprise Architect, Global Director of Customer Success, Lead Account Executives, and Customer Success Managers.

“I’m excited for customers to meet and share knowledge. We work daily with customers individually, but we see common traits in their challenges and solutions, so this is a great opportunity for them to share, experience, and feel a sense of community.” - Krishan Thangavadivel, Customer Success Manager at Ardoq

ABB will be hosting this customer experience event at their Zürich headquarters. ABB is a technology leader in electrification and automation, enabling a more sustainable and resource-efficient future. Their solutions connect engineering know-how and software to optimize how things are manufactured, moved, powered, and operated. ABB’s 105,000 employees are committed to driving innovations that accelerate industrial transformation.
